Sweet Tomatoes (also known as Souplantation, which is located all over Southern California)
Tips* Always use a coupon (like this one) that you can find through your phone- from $9.99 to $7.99
Tips* I love separating my salad into two components, so you can really enjoy the whole meal's ingredients and not have to dig through it at the very bottom of the plate. 1) for the main greens 2) for the toppings
Tips* To get some meat protein, you can either pay extra or go to the Chicken Noodle Soup counter and pour in some chicken...heheh

Mixt Greens: Well-tossed (so great that it falls all over the floor)
Custom Salads+4 toppings=$8.75

I ordered the chicken mixed green/cooked bell pepper/mango slices/egg/tomatoes with a side of the mixt vinaigrette.

I would definitely come back for more salad creations!

Sushirrito
They are known for their sushi burritos, which comes with rice. So I picked the salad.

Bonsai Salad- $10.00 with dressing on the side
Yellowfin Tuna (Hand-Line Caught), Romaine Lettuce, Julienne Carrots, Namasu Cucumber, Daikon Sprouts, Pepitas, Wasabi Dust
Passion Fruit Miso Dressing

I liked the salad, well balance of flavors from the hint of wasabi, namasu cucumbers, pepitas and pear dressing. The only little thing to complain is the limited amount of yellowfin tuna.

PictureJapanese Slammin Salmon Bowl at Bamboo Asia, San Francisco
Bamboo Asia
  • Similar to a Chipotle , but with an Asian theme
  • Three different stations (Indian, Japanese, Vietnamese) to build your own salad/bowl
  • Japanese Slammin Salmon Salad Bowl (mushrooms/kale/salad/salmon sashimi/edamame/roe) opted out on the spicy salmon, asked for both salad vinaigrette and dynamite sauce on the side
  • Not to be picky, but I would still prefer Whole Foods salad bar over this, because of the price and the salad topping variety.

Cheat Day: Fraiche makes fresh organic frozen yogurt. They have several great flavors: chocolate, original and soy, which is my favorite. http://www.fraicheyogurt.com
